A Taste of Memories
In honor of the 71st anniversary of the founding of the modern State of Israel, the WRJ Temple Israel Rosh Chodesh group will meet Tuesday, May 14 at Susan Stein's home to learn more about 3 individuals whose lives were lost fighting for Israel's continued survival or whose lives were cut short by terrorism. Those 3 individuals are:
- Ariela Fahima z"l (was 39 when she got killed by a terrorist on her way home.)
- Zachi Davidz"l, a border police soldier that got killed by a terrorist during his military service.
- Refanael Muskal z"l, got killed during a battle in south Lebanon during the war.
Meitav Menachem, Community Shlicha, will lead the evening, teaching us about these special individuals and leading us as we cook a favorite food of each one.
The evening will begin at 6:00 pm in order to have more time. It's okay to come late if necessary.
Please RSVP to Susan, suestein1@gmail.com as space is limited and we want to be able to provide seating for all.
The recipes which have been chosen are dairy/pareve.
